Fairfield National Reaches U.S. Championship Game At Little League World Series
The Connecticut team, representing the Metro Region, is scheduled to face a former opponent again on Saturday in Williamsport, PA.

FAIRFIELD, CT — It has been one heck of a ride for the Fairfield National Little League team at the 2025 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and the beauty is, it is not over yet.
The Connecticut team, which is representing the Metro Region, is 4-0 in the international tournament, and will play for the United States Championship at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday on ABC.
Their opponent? The Mountain Region representative, Summerlin South Little League from Las Vegas, Nevada, who Fairfield defeated on Wednesday, 7-3.

Fairfield has relied on strong pitching, crafty base running, timely hitting and stellar defense to reach Saturday's U.S. Final, and if they win, they will play in the Little League World Series Championship game on Sunday at 3 p.m. (again on ABC).

The International Championship Game, also on Saturday, is between the Asia-Pacific Region and the Caribbean Region.
If Fairfield loses on Saturday, they will play in the Third Place game at 10 a.m. on ESPN.
A parade and celebration is planned for the Fairfield National team on Monday, officials announced.
In addition to Wednesday's game, Fairfield's other victories were against Lamar Little League of Richmond, Texas, 1-0; Honolulu, Hawaii, 5-1; and Sioux Falls Little League from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 13-1.
"These boys have been playing together since they were eight years old," Diego Da Lan, President of Fairfield National Little League, told Patch before this year's tournament began. "They have worked extremely hard to get to where they are today, practicing every day for hours at a time. They’re each other’s best friends and play the game for each other."
