Fairfield Resident Wins $500K in Connecticut Lottery Game

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield resident hit it big Tuesday - winning $500,000 in a Connecticut lottery game.

Giacinto Rizzi bought the Extreme Cash winning ticket at Jays Mobil on The Run in Fairfield.

Other recent six-figure lottery winners in Connecticut over the past week include: Lisa Brey, of East Hartford, who won $100,000 playing Cash 5 from Glastonbury Mobil, Maurice Shipman, of Wallingford, who won $100,002 playing Cash 5 from Cumberland Farms #4704 in Shelton, and Linda Thomas, of Naugatuck, won $200,000 playing Powerball from Metro Food Mart in Naugatuck.
