The Commemoration is free, but the Commemoration Committee asks for donations. The contributions directly benefit the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous, an organization that supports those who aided victims of the Holocaust, and the International Institute of Connecticut, which has helped immigrants and refugees to settle in Connecticut since 1918.
