Whatever the scenario, whatever your age or interest, at the tip of your fingers, Gowzon, a new location-based events and activity app, curates local fun based on your interests and location.
The Gowzon app founder, Andrea Caldwell saw the need for a one-stop platform that caters to all generations to discover local happenings when looking to make plans with friends or family, or find an activity that can be done solo. Users simply download the app and select which category of fun they want to check out.

Gowzon recently launched in the community of Fairfield with plans to launch in other local markets throughout 2023. Gowzon (said “Goes on”) helps users save time by aggregating local restaurants and events based on their interests, eliminating the need to scrape social media and other platforms to tell you what’s going on in your town or a city where you might not know where to go.

“As people who love to discover new and interesting places, we designed Gowzon as a one-stop app to discover what’s going on in your local community – whether you’re a teen or a senior, this opens up more opportunities to have fun, discover a new pastime, and uncover the uniqueness of your community,” said Caldwell, who runs her own events planning business and lives and works out of Fairfield and Bridgeport.

Businesses, arts and theater venues, museums, restaurants, and organizations that are holding an event can easily upload an ad on Gowzon for a low-rate, connecting businesses to local visitors and active consumers. The app is not intended to be a review platform so you won’t find stars, reviews or ratings. Caldwell added, “Gowzon is all about giving users options to discover new places and try new things, based on their preferences.”

For a limited time, advertising is free for local companies by visiting here, go here. “We are staying true to locals supporting locals –brick and mortar as well as local technology and service companies. We built this app using a local developer and resources and we are excited to launch it here in Fairfield, first!” said Caldwell.
