Family Fun Awaits at McKinley Carnival at Jennings Beach
The carnival opens Thursday, April 24, and runs through Sunday, April 27.
The McKinley School PTA kicks off its annual McKinley Elementary School Carnival on Thursday, April 24, at Fairfield’s Jennings Beach.
The carnival runs for four days, through Sunday, April 27. It offers all the traditional favorite rides, which are suitable for toddlers to adults, among many other attractions, through the PTA’s ongoing partnership with Stewart Amusements.
Chilibomb, a restaurant located on Black Rock Turnpike next to Swanson's, will offer hamburgers, hot dogs, and chili. Carnival favorites of funnel cake, fried dough, and fried Oreos will also be available.
Wristbands will be sold throughout the carnival so that kids and adults can enjoy all the rides they want for one price.
The carnival is the school’s biggest fundraiser. The PTA uses the carnival’s proceeds to help fund cultural enrichment programs and sponsor educational field trips for McKinley Elementary School students.
