In terms of her fashions, Butler said that “the style influences of the past are unavoidable in design, but I think it's important to take them somewhere else so they're not a rehash of the past, but are instead moving towards a new future.” She noted that “advances in fabric technology and changes in lifestyle play big roles in why we do not live in fashion's past.”
Event chair, Jen Hinkle, said she is looking forward to bringing her friends to the luncheon and show. “Not only are Jennifer's designs stunning, but her narration is a show in and of itself; she is so knowledgeable, creative and always witty,” she said. “We're in for a treat!”
