Fitness Council Invites Residents to 'Get Fit Fairfield!'
The event will be held Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sherman Green Gazebo.

The Fairfield Fitness Council is inviting all Fairfield residents and visitors to Get Fit Fairfield!, a free Fitness Day event on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sherman Green Gazebo, sponsored by the Fairfield Health Department.
This event will host local vendors in Fairfield that offer community members different ways to be physically active. Vendors are subject to change, but include the Fairfield YMCA, Bigelow Center for Senior Activities, Wakeman’s Boys and Girls Club, Dance Up Studio, Yoga for Everybody, The Bar Method, Fit Club, Fairfield Recreation Department and the Cheerleading and Gymnastics Academy. Some vendors will be providing demonstrations and free raffle prizes for memberships and/or classes. Refreshments will also be provided by Whole Foods in Fairfield and b.Good.

“The Fitness Council is really excited for this event”, said Santina Jaronko, Fitness Council member and health educator for the Fairfield Health Department. “The goal of this event is to show community members different ways they can be physically active in Fairfield.”
This event is completely free to attend, and all residents and visitors of Fairfield are encouraged to attend.
