While there hasn't been a specific directive from law enforcement, we believe it is now prudent to take additional time to address these concerns thoroughly before proceeding with the event.

Navigating the Path to Peace in the Middle East: An Iraqi Jew’s Humanitarian Perspective

Please join me this coming Tuesday evening at 7:00pm for an evening with Hen Mazzig, a globally recognized speaker, educator, and digital influencer; he’s a distinguished voice on Middle Eastern affairs and co-founder of the Tel Aviv Institute, a multidisciplinary laboratory focused on uplifting Jews on and offline through innovative, social media driven strategies.

As we witness the heart-wrenching escalation of violence and suffering in the Middle East, this event is a call to all who dream of a Middle East free from hate, where every individual’s right to security and peace is upheld. To that end, I’m thrilled to extend an invitation to the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church in Fairfield this coming Tuesday (February 27th) for a meaningful conversation with Hen aimed at forging understanding and compassion amidst this crisis.

Mazzig, whose heritage is deeply rooted in North African and Iraqi Jewish traditions, has been a fervent advocate for a peaceful resolution that respects the dignity and rights of both Palestinians and Israelis.

Through Mazzig’s unique perspective, born of his rich cultural background, we hope to shed light on some of the complexities of the war in the Middle East. Hen will discuss his perspective on the urgent need to address the rise in antisemitism as part of a broader fight against hate.

By challenging prevailing myths and misconceptions, Hen aims to pave the way for a future where Palestinians and Jews can coexist in peace.

Please join us; your participation is a step toward understanding and dismantling the biases that hinder our collective pursuit of harmony.

RSVP is required, and ID's will be checked at the door:
