Madero's Grill In Fairfield Serves Up Steak With A Twist
The new fusion restaurant is located at 222 Post Road.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Madero's Grill, a new steakhouse at 222 Post Road in Fairfield, serves up its meat dishes with a mix of Venezuelan and Mexican influences, according to owner Armando Urriola.
"Our meats taste different," Urriola told Patch with a big smile. "You have to taste it."
That difference comes from a fusion of North, Central and South American recipes and grilling styles that Urriola hopes will delight customers.

"This is your home," Urriola said. "Madero's is your home."
One of Madero's signature dishes is Parrillada Latina, which is described on the menu as having "all the Latin flavors of prime meat, smoked chorizo, fresh chimichurri, grilled cheese, and coleslaw."

There's also Madero's Fusion Grill: "This is the Jewel in the Crown and it is perfect for sharing, it fuses the grill of the northern countries with the grills of the south, grill chicken, juicy ribs, smoked sausage, grilled steak, and pork chop."
The restaurant also serves traditional American fare, such as burgers, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese.
Urriola and his family emigrated from Venezuela six years ago, and just as the United States has welcomed him, he is looking to welcome patrons.
The restaurant had a soft opening in September, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick this week, just in time for the kickoff of the World Cup, which Madero's will show on televisions during the afternoons.
"Your success is Fairfield's success," Kupchick said as she welcomed Madero's to town.
