A Bridgeport man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing 20 cans of Red Bull from Cumberland Farms on Kings Highway East, police said.

An employee reported to police that a man in a black jacket had left the store without paying for numerous cans of Red Bull.

The responding officer located a man matching the employee's suspect position walking near Cumberland Farms. The officer noticed a bulge under the man's jacket -- the bulge turned out to be 20 cans of Red Bull, according to the report.

Police brought the man -- identified as Mark Goncalvez, 36, of Alice Street -- back to Cumberland Farms, where the complainant employee identified him as the suspect, according to the report.

Goncalvez was held in lieu of a $300 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 25.
