Man Found Dead Inside Car Parked in Fairfield
The man was reported missing by his family in Greenwich.

A 60-year-old Greenwich man who was reported missing over the weekend, has been found dead in Fairfield.
According to Greenwich Police Sgt. John Slusarz, the man’s wife reported him missing from their East Elm Street at 7:54 a.m. Saturday.
Slusarz said investigating officers followed department procedures that included notifying area police departments of the person’s vehicle license plate, determining whether credit cards were used and trying to locate the person via their cell phone. Slusarz said he could not release more specific details.
It was about 2 p.m. Saturday that Fairfield Police found the man inside his car. According to Greenwich Time, the car was parked on Commerce Drive and the man inside was found with a plastic bag over his head. Fairfield Police are investigating his death as a suicide.
The man, whose identity has not been released, left a letter addressed to his wife, family and friends inside the car, according to the Greenwich Time report that can be found here.
