Memorial Day Parade Reminders

Fairfield's Memorial Day Parade will start this morning at 10:00am. This is the 395th year Fairfield will be celebrating.

The Town has chosen to give veterans of the Korean War a special focus this year. 

South Korea has remained free since 1954,” says Betsey Browne, Fairfield’s Town Clerk. “We honor the veterans who served in the Korean War." 

Marshals serving at the parade include  Rolf Marx of Post 74, Peter Luzetsky of Post 143, Joe Lebinski of Post 9427, and Tim Kelly of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 19.

The parade will progress from South Pine Creek Road and along Old Post Road. Fairfield residents are reminded that there will be no parking along parade routes.
