Officials Honor Fairfield Giants Pee Wee Cheerleaders
The team placed fifth nationally and first in the New England Regional D2 Championship last year.

Officials recognized the achievements of the Fairfield Giants Pee Wee Cheerleaders, a squad that placed fifth in December at the Pop Warner National Championship in Disney World.
The team has also been crowned Southern Connecticut Pop Warner champs, state champions, and winners of the New England Regional D2 Championship.

"We're thrilled," First Selectman Michael Tetreau said, awarding each cheerleader and the team's coaches with certificates of recognition at Wednesday's Board of Selectmen meeting.
"Thank you for honoring our town and making us proud."
