Popular Fairfield Clothing Store CAPRI Celebrates 25th Anniversary

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Town of Fairfield’s Office of Community & Economic Development is pleased to announce the 25th anniversary of CAPRI, located at 1417 Post Road in Fairfield. The Town of Fairfield’s First Selectman, Bill Gerber, Director of Community and Economic Development, Mark Barnhart, and President of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Beverly Balaz, joined Sharon Risley to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the store in the heart of downtown Fairfield with a commemorative photo on Thursday, April 11th.
CAPRI opened its doors in 1999 and has been a local favorite ever since! Located in the heart of
downtown Fairfield, CAPRI brings warmth and small business success to the community. Their
customers choose from trendy fashions, fantastic jewelry and accessories for every
occasion. They offer personalized service in a carefree shopping atmosphere.

The CAPRI staff all live in Fairfield and have raised their families here. Fairfield is their home
and heart! The team is involved in the Downtown Merchant Association and enjoy sharing ideas
with their neighboring small business owners - we thrive on cooperation not competition! Sharon
is also involved in many local activities and currently serves on the Board of Operation Hope of
Fairfield.
