FAIRFIELD, CT — Dwight Elementary School in Fairfield was closed on Friday, March 7, due to "high winds causing a power outage and downed wires," according Superintendent Michael Testani.

Strong winds have caused power outages throughout the state on Friday.

Additionally, Testani warned that buses could be delayed due to the winds.
