Search Underway For Stolen Mercedes-Benz In Fairfield With Cat Inside: CT State Police
The incident occurred this week at an I-95 rest stop, according to authorities.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Connecticut State Police are searching for a stolen Mercedes-Benz that had a cat inside, and troopers are asking for the public's assistance in finding the vehicle and the pet.
The theft occurred at about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the southbound rest area parking lot on I-95 in Fairfield, and according to troopers, the vehicle's keys were inside when it was stolen.
"This remains an active investigation, anyone with any information is asked to contact Troop G at 203-696-2500," wrote state police in a release.

The stolen vehicle is described as a silver 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB 35 AMG with a Massachusetts dealer license plate "MEDI," and the cat's name is Milo, News 12 Connecticut reported.
A dark-colored Hyundai Elantra, possibly bearing fake Ohio plates, reportedly might have been involved in the theft.
