$1000 Grant to Enhance a part of Farmingtown is offered by the Farmington Garden Club.

The Farmington Garden Club is offering $1,000 to the group who will create the best small project that improves the lives of Farmington residents.

Although the club expects a lot of applications with gardening as a focus, they are also open to ideas that will improve a patch of the town in any way.

Applications will be available online at the Farmington Garden Club's website at www.farmingtongardenclub.org beginning December 15.

Applications are due on or before February 10, 2026. The $1,000 grant will be awarded on March 1.

At least one applicant in a group  must be over 18 and one must be a Farmington resident. Projects must be located in Farmington or directly serve Farmington residents.

Paper applications will be located at the Town Hall and at Farmington High School. Check the website, above, for other locations.
