FARMINGTON, CT — Farmington could see over 1,000 new apartment units spring up in the next two years or so, the Hartford Courant reported.

Plans for large residential buildings near UConn Health — with 750 units in total — were recently approved, the Courant reported.

And, the newspaper said, a 268-unit complex in Unionville was approved seven years ago, but work on it never began. If that complex is built, it would bring the total number of new units above 1,000, the Courant said.
