Farmington PD Probes ATM Smash-And-Grab At Local Gas Station: Police
The incident early Monday morning is similar to other ATM thefts reported in Simsbury and South Windsor.

FARMINGTON, CT — Local police are investigating a smash-and-grab attack early this morning at a Farmington gas station.
According to the Farmington Police Department, officers were called at about 1:49 a.m. Monday to the Mobil gas station, located at 843 Farmington Ave., after receiving both a burglar alarm and a glass break alarm from the business.
"Upon arrival, officers discovered that the front door had been forced off its hinges and the store’s ATM had been removed," wrote the FPD.

Farmington police detectives responded to process the scene and continue the
investigation.
"Initial information suggests that three suspects, all wearing masks, arrived in a dark blue Volvo SUV
and removed the ATM before fleeing the area," wrote the FPD.

Police said this incident may be linked to prior similar incidents at gas stations in South Windsor and Simsbury.
The Farmington Police Department is actively investigating this incident, and no additional
details are available.
