FARMINGTON, CT — Part of Birdseye Road in Farmington will close this week so crews can pave it, the Farmington Police Department said.

From Monday through May 9, drivers can expect lane closures for about 1.1 miles of Birdseye Road — from US 6 (Colt Highway) to Route 531 (South Road). Police said traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide drivers through the work zone.

Though the project's regular work schedule is between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays, police said drivers should keep in mind that the schedule may be modified or extended because of circumstances like weather delays.
