25th Anniversary Celebration of Empty Bowls Benefiting the Friend to Friend Food Pantry

Saturday, October 4, 2025, 11:30-1:30, East Granby Mary Ellen Brown Senior/Community Center.

Join Expressions Pottery Workshop and the Friend to Friend Food Pantry for the Empty Bowls 25th Anniversary Celebration fundraiser on Saturday, October 4th, 11:30am-1:30pm at the East Granby Community/Senior Center, 7 Memorial Drive. All proceeds benefit the Friend to Friend Food Pantry which provides food to pre-qualified East Granby residents and families in need. Tickets are $25.00 pre-purchase or $30.00 at the door. (We’ll offer a $10.00 Soup Only ticket for children 12 and under and seniors, 65+, available for purchase only at the event.)

This year we’re serving delicious soup prepared onsite by our Special Guest Chef Julien Tessier, owner of Julien’s Farm Store in Granby, CT. This fall fundraiser will include new surprises in addition to the favorite traditions of our yearly event:

Festivities begin indoors at 11:30 at the EG Community/Senior Center. Choose your hand-potted bowl, enjoy delicious soups, purchase Thanksgiving-themed raffle tickets for a chance to win a fresh holiday turkey, $100 Gift Card to Julien's Farm Store (1 of 2!) and other Fall-themed prizes! Enjoy live folk music performed by Allendale Rose. (You may want to stagger your arrival as we fill up fast at 11:30. No worries though — we may run out of seating for a bit, but we never run out of soup or beautiful hand made bowls.)
