Ann M. Kramer, 89, of Granby, beloved wife of the late Frank T. Kramer, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2015 in Granby. Born in Hartford on May 25, 1926, daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Maddaluno) Montano, she was raised in Hartford and was a graduate of Weaver High School, Class of 1944.

Ann and her husband moved from Hartford to Granby in 1955 where they started a family and raised their son and daughter. After her husband died in 1972, Ann raised her two children while working full time. A very independent woman, she worked until she was 80 and had lived alone for many years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake in Southwick, MA.

She leaves a son, Christopher G. Kramer of East Windsor; a daughter, Geralynn Costa and her husband Douglas of Southwick, MA; four grandchildren, Karissa Ann Kramer, Kalynn Stark, Douglas Costa, Jr. and his wife Erin, and Alexander Costa; a great grandson, Declan Costa; a sister-in-law, Peg Montano of West Hartford; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Nicholas Montano; and a sister, Lucy Montano.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 4-7 p.m., at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, July 25, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Lake, 224 Sheep Pasture Rd., Southwick, MA. Burial will follow in Granby Cemetery, Granby. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Lake, 224 Sheep Pasture Rd., Southwick, MA 01077.
