Granby Residents Invited To Learn How Town Budget Works
According to the town, the open house is meant to make the budget process easier to understand for residents.
GRANBY, CT — Granby residents are invited to attend a public open house aimed at explaining how the town’s budget is created, according to an announcement.
The Open House on the Budget Process is scheduled for Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Granby Senior Center, town officials said.
According to the town, the session will be hosted by Mark Fiorentino, Mike Guarco, and Monica Logan, who will be available to answer questions and speak directly with residents.

Town officials said the discussion will focus on Granby’s Capital Improvement Plan, including how major projects are reviewed and approved, and the upcoming Fiscal Year 2026–27 annual budget process.

According to the announcement, the goal of the open house is to help residents better understand how and when they can provide input on budget decisions, while also giving town leaders a chance to hear suggestions on how the process could be improved.
