Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• Owen Richard Danke of Granby received a bachelor of science degree in computer science, mathematics minor from Clarkson University on May 10, 2025.

Emerson College, Boston MA

• Emerson College awarded approximately 1,000 undergraduate degrees to the Class of 2025 during its 145th commencement at Agganis Arena in Boston on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Tomas Lorenzo Macasaet of Granby received a BFA in media arts production.

Nazareth University, Rochester NY

• Nazareth University is proud to announce that Jasmine Ritter of East Granby has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2025 semester. A student's grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean's list at Nazareth.

Salve Regina University, Newport RI

• William Pagliaro of West Granby was awarded a B.A. in mathematics for pre-engineering-Wu degree during Salve Regina University's 75th commencement.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named three students from Granby to the spring 2025 Dean's List. Those students and their majors are Brianna Cassin, health science; Carter Frith, sport management; and Camdyn Lupoli, health science / pre-PA. The criteria for selection to the Dean's List are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the term, exclusive of "P" grades. The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term. Student must not have been barred from Dean's List due to disciplinary action.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• Megan Allshouse, Frances Caley, Grace Evangelista, Justine Gaughan, Julia McHugh and Kelsi Stickels, all of Granby, and Delilah Strong of East Granby were named to the spring 2025 Dean's List. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
