On Campus: Great Achievements By College Students From The Granbys

Clark University, Worcester MA

• Clark University awarded 468 undergraduate degrees and 1,014 advanced degrees during two ceremonies as part of the University's 121st commencement exercises at the DCU Center in Worcester n Monday, May 19. Ian M. Calabrese of Granby graduated with a Bachelor of Arts; Ellie E. Karabetsos of Granby graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts; and Bennett Cyr Rodriguez of West Granby graduated with a Master of Arts.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Chelsea Newton, Min Silva, Grady Kelly, Averie Dickens and Gabi de los Reyes, all of Granby, and Logan French of East Granby were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester, in which 1,302 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Millersville University, Millersville PA

• Mackenzie Janski of Granby has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester.
  Students are eligible for the Dean's List if they earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Ralph Rossi, a member of the Class of 2026 from Granby, has been named to the spring 2025 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Drew Roosa of Granby received a Master of Library & Information Studies degree during the university's spring commencement ceremonies.
• Grace Flagg ofGranby was named to the Dean's List for spring semester 2025. Students were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 or above.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Three students from the Granbys were named to the President's List for the spring 2025 semester: Shane Gove of West Granby, Kyle Lavitt of Granby and Tara Martin of East Granby. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.75 and receive grades of C or better.
• Seven area students made the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester. They are Noah Collen, Kyle Lavitt and Grace Yoder, all of Granby; Megan Benner, Morgan Egan and Tara Martin, all of East Granby; and Shane Gove of West Granby. The Dean's List requirement, with some exceptions, is a grade point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C.
