Bates College, Lewiston ME

  • At its 159th commencement on May 25, 2025, Bates College celebrated 504 members of its Class of 2025. Alex Zunino of East Granby graduated with a major in philosophy and minoring in rhetoric, film, and screen studies.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

  • This summer, dozens of students from the Business Division at Eastern Connecticut State University sharpened their corporate expertise through a myriad of internships. Each student exercised various professional skills they learned at Eastern and applied them on-site.
    Among the interns was Ryan Mowry of Granby, a junior majoring in finance.

Emerson College, Boston MA

  • Tomas Lorenzo Macasaet of Granby earned Dean's List honors for the spring semester at Emerson College. Macasaet is majoring in media arts production and is a member of the Class of 2025. The requirement to make the Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

  • Joshua Hall has earned a spot on the Goodwin University President's List for spring 2025.
    Joshua, a student from Granby, is one of 321 students to make the President's List, reserved for those who demonstrate exemplary academic performance. Inclusion on the President's List requires a student to earn a 4.0 GPA during a given academic session.
