But, that could change beginning Wednesday if a dispute between the ABC affiliate at Cox Communications isn't resolved. Both companies have posted information about the stand-off which stems from a contract disagreement over programming costs. <a href="http://www.wtnh.com/dpp/about_us/retransmission/cox-communications-retransmission-dispute" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">WTNH has posted their position on their website </a>about the situation which it calls a "retransmission dispute." <a href="http://ww2.cox.com/myconnection/connecticut/community/alert.cox" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Cox Communications states on its website</a> that the owner of WTNH, LIN TV Corporation, "is demanding a huge increase in programming costs." Cox provides cable services to Granby, East Granby, Cheshire, Hamden, Meriden, North Haven, Southington and other north-central Connecticut towns.
