Empty Bowls- 23rd Annual

For the past 23 years Expressions Pottery Workshop has participated in the Empty Bowls fundraiser, a grassroots movement by artists and craftspeople in cities and towns around the world to raise money and awareness for food related charities. Together with Friend to Friend Food Pantry of East Granby we are seeking to feed the hungry in our community. This years event will be held at the East Granby Community Center and will benefit the East Granby Food Pantry.

Attendees will select one from over 400 beautifully handcrafted bowlsmade by Expressions Pottery Workshop members. They will be served delicious organic soups masterfully prepared by chef Jay Welch and given a raffle ticket for a gift certificate to Expressions Gallery. Enjoy live music and a wonderful sense of community. The studio and gallery will be open at 9 School Street for wheel throwing demonstrations, dessert and complimentary pumpkins from Peter L Brown.
