As Fall Practices Begin, A Look At Granby, East Granby's Team Title Histories, 2025 Games

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Monday marked the first day for official workouts for high school fall sports programs across Connecticut, with the exception of golf which began practices last week (full contact is permitted at football practices beginning this weekend). With the coming of the new season comes the hope for success, with the ultimate goal being winning a state championship.

Granby's 36 fall state titles date back to 1973, while East Granby won its lone fall team crown in 1970.

Here are the state championships won by Bear and Crusader teams in autumns past:
