Firefighters from the Lost Acres Fire Department and East Granby Fire Department battled a brush fire on Notch Road for nearly four hours on Sunday morning, according to NBC Connecticut.
The fire, which ignited five acres of woods, threatened several homes on Notch Road, though none were burned, NBC reported. A shed was destroyed, however, and its contents - including motorcycles, a snowmobile and a lawnmower - were melted.
Firefighters returned to the scene later in the day to douse hot spots, according to WFSB.
