NORTH-CENTRAL CT — Today's edition of this informative periodic series on Patch sites in north-central Connecticut, providing facts and figures about some of the state roads which wind through the area, takes us to a mainly rural road which originates in the northwestern part of the state and winds up as a brief stretch of highway before ending at the junction with an interstate.
Route 20 begins at Route 8 in the small Litchfield County town of Winchester, heads northeast into Hartford County in Hartland, then continues through Granby, East Granby and Windsor Locks. It turns into a highway near Bradley International Airport, and ends at the junction of I-91 at the Windsor Locks/Windsor line.
