Heavy Police Presence At Granby High School Due to Rumored Threats
The Granby Memorial High School principal emailed members of the school community Friday morning, saying rumored threats are not credible.

GRANBY, CT — Rumors of threats to Granby Memorial High School resulted in a heavy police presence on campus Friday morning, but a school official said he is confident there is no credible threat.
In an email sent to the school community, Principal Michael Dunn wrote, "[We] have been made aware of concerns shared through social media about rumors of threats to the school. We have been working closely with Granby Police who are on site at the school, and are confident that there are no credible threats and there is no cause for alarm."
The nature of the supposed threats was not disclosed.
