Longtime Granby Resident Displays Artwork Across The Area
Joe Burger currently has his pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, pastel and oil work exhibited at the Granby Public Library, the Veterans Art League Show at Springfield College, among other locations.
The work of local artist Joe Burger is on display in the Granby library for the month of October. Joe, a former resident of Granby, now resides in Broad Brook with his wife Corinne. He uses primarily pencil or colored pencil in his work because of the level of detail that can be achieved. He also works with accomplished artists in the region to improve his skills in watercolor, pastels, and oils.
Although a relative newcomer to the art world, beginning with his retirement three years ago, Joe has won several awards in local art shows and his work has been accepted by Academic Artists and by the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.
See some of Burger's work, on display at the Granby Public Library throughout October, in the photo gallery above and visit the display in person as well.
