Central Connecticut State University, New Britain CT

• The following local students were named to the fall 2023 Dean’s List at Central Connecticut State University. From East Granby: Justin Hall, Jason Ho, Gavin Kulch and Aidan Walsh. University of Delaware, Newark DE

• Jenna Salinardi of Granby has been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the fall 2023 Dean's List, including Megan Allshouse, Frances Caley, Alynne Gallion, Kyle Kadis and Julia McHugh, all of Granby, and Nick DeFranzo, Julia FIedziukiewicz and Delilah Strong, all of East Granby. Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Granby resident Prior Waskan, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2023 semester. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
