Submitted press release A Special Town Meeting will be held in the East Granby Senior/Community Center on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 7:30 pm.  The Meeting will consider and act upon the ratification of the Teachers Contract between the East Granby Board of Education and the East Granby Education Association as recommended by the Board of Education.  The Board of Education will make a presentation at the Town Meeting and answer questions prior to a vote.  The new three-year Teachers Contract, including general wage increase, steps and lanes, calls for a total increase of 2.34 percent in year one, 3.05 percent in year two and 3.11 percent in year three.
