- Emerson College awarded approximately 1,045 undergraduate degrees to the Class of 2024 during the 144th Commencement at Agganis Arena in Boston, MA on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Sage Kingsley of West Granby received a BA in media arts production, and Sabrina Porter of East Granby received a BS in communication disorders.

- Western New England University held its graduate commencement ceremony on May 19 at the MassMutual Center, celebrating the Class of 2024. Christopher Karl Fortier of East Granby graduated with a MSE in mechanical engineering, Michael V. Kniffin of Granby graduated with a Juris Doctor, and Colby Little of Granby graduated with a MBA program leadership concentration.
- Emily Kowal of East Granby graduated summa cum laude from Western New England University with a BS in biomedical engineering. The undergraduate ceremony was held on Sunday, May 19, at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield. She was also named to the President's List for the spring 2024 semester. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
- Three local students were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Jonathan Pedraza of East Granby is working toward a BSBA in finance; Daniel Robb of Granby is working toward a BSBA in finance; and Jackson Rome of Granby is working toward a BSBA in sport management.
