Tractor Trailer Knocks Out Wires, Causes Road Closure In East Granby
An incident similar to one which took place two weeks ago has again caused traffic disruption in East Granby.

EAST GRANBY, CT — For the second time in two weeks, a tractor trailer truck took down wires on Seymour Road, causing its closure between South Main Street and Spoonville Road.
According to the East Granby Department of Emergency Management, the roadway was to be closed for an "unknown time frame." Residents of Old County Highway had access to leave or arrive to their street under the guidance of police services.
The roadway was re-opened by 4:30 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to treat non-working traffic lights as a stop sign.
On Oct. 15, a similar incident closed the roadway and knocked out power in the area for several hours.
