Out of the 20-plus varieties of bagels at Lox Stock & Bagels, the most popular is, a little surprisingly, the one that costs the most.

It is ... drumroll, please ... the cheddar bagel!

The cheddar, which is $1.59 compared to $1 for most bagels, sells out pretty much every day at the Granby location, according to Dan Bryant, one of the managers.

"We make about 30 to 40 a day and they're all gone," Bryant said.

Lox Stock & Bagels has locations in Granby, West Hartford and Bloomfield.
