1 Hospitalized In 5-Vehicle Crash In Greenwich: Police

GREENWICH, CT — One person was hospitalized following a five-vehicle crash in Greenwich on Thursday, according to police.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:12 p.m. at the intersection of East Putnam Avenue and Ferris Drive, Capt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police Department told Patch.

"Minor entrapment" was reported for one driver, who noted back pain, Smyth said.

Another driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital with possible minor injuries, Smyth said.
