GREENWICH, CT — A waterfront home built in 1976 has been listed for sale in Greenwich at $10,350,000. The home is located at 111 Byram Shore Road.
There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms, and the house is 8,223 square feet, according to the listing on Zillow.
"Once part of the 43-acre Edgar Marston estate, the property includes c.1885 Queen Anne-style cottage with sleeping loft, kitchenette, and full bath -the only remaining structure from one of Greenwich's Great Estates," the Zillow listing says in part. "Close proximity to Byram Park with a public pool, beach, marina and boat launch for Greenwich residents. Easy access to downtown Greenwich as well as Manhattan."

Marston was a philanthropist, banker and industrialist.
According to an article published in The New York Times on July 2, 1921, Marston sold the Byram Shore property to Walter C. Teagle of the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey.

It was believed the property sold at $500,000.
"Mr. Marston bought the place in 1900 and developed it into one of the most beautiful places along the Sound," the NY Times reported at the time.
