'Adventures in Opera' -- A Family Program

The free family concert will be given at the Byram Shubert Library.

Greenwich Library’s Ashforth Concert Series and Curiosity Concerts will present “Adventures in Opera” featuring local soprano star Caroline Worra and pianist Brian Garman on Saturday, Dec. 19.

The concert will take place at 2 p.m. at the Byram Shubert Library, 21 Mead Ave.

In this free family concert, audiences will explore the characters and emotions behind great operatic arias and songs in Italian, French, German, and English. Curiosity Concerts producer Shelly Cryer said, “Caroline Worra’s voice and presence are pure magic. She performs in fabulous formal costume and with a voice that takes your breath away. And Caroline does it all with a sparkle in her eye and a connection to her audience that converts even first-time opera listeners to passionate fans.”
