Arts Program Coordinator Appointed In Greenwich Public Schools
The new arts program coordinator will begin her new role Aug. 18, according to Greenwich Public Schools.
GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Public Schools has named Leah Stillman as its new PreK-12 arts program coordinator, Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones announced on Friday.
Stillman, an educator and administrator with more than 25 years of experience in the arts, will begin the role Aug. 18.
At GPS, Stillman will oversee visual, music, and theater arts programs across the district’s 15 schools, ensuring consistent and equitable implementation aligned with district improvement goals. She will report to Marc D’Amico, the district’s chief officer of K-12 curriculum and leadership.

"Ms. Leah Stillman’s extensive experience and expertise in the arts, especially with technology, makes her a valuable asset to Greenwich Public Schools," Jones said in her announcement. "Not only has she taught on every level in primary and secondary education, but Ms. Stillman has proven to be a dynamic and visionary arts administrator and leader. Our school district’s strong reputation for encouraging and nurturing art, music, and theater with students in all grades continues to attract the best administrators and educators from around our region."
Since 2020, Stillman has served as district curricular lead and performing arts coordinator for Madison Public Schools in New Haven County, supervising music and theater educators, coordinating student performance opportunities, organizing interdisciplinary arts events, and working with administrators to align programming with district objectives.

Her earlier career includes nearly a decade of teaching at New London Visual & Performing Arts Magnet School, Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School, and Arts at the Capitol Theater Magnet School, where she developed and implemented music technology and performance programs.
"Greenwich Public Schools’ vibrant arts community reflects a deep commitment to creativity, expression and student engagement," Stillman said in the announcement. "My goal as the arts coordinator is to support and enhance existing programs while identifying new opportunities for growth, equity, and innovation. I am committed to collaborating with educators, students, and the community to ensure the arts remain a dynamic and integral part of every student’s educational experience."
Stillman earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Hofstra University, a master’s in instructional technology from the New York Institute of Technology, and a certificate of advanced study in school district administration from Long Island University’s C.W. Post campus.
