GREENWICH, CT — Fines will now be issued for those who violate the posted speed limit in four school zone areas, the Greenwich Police Department announced this week.

The warning period has ended at the following four camera locations:

  • Central Middle School – Indian Rock Lane
  • Glenville School – Riversville Road
  • Greenwich High School – Hillside Road
  • Parkway School – Lower Cross Road

Fines will be mailed to the address of the registered owner’s address. Police have said these citations will not carry points on licenses or impact insurance, "but they are to be taken seriously as each infraction is exponentially endangering the lives of students in and near the school zone."
