Back-to-Back Chances of Rain This Week

We'll let you know when the rain is forecast to fall and how much to expect, and we'll hit the mid 50s one day this week.

One thing is for certain in the National Weather Service’s latest 7-day forecast there is zero chance of snow through Sunday, Dec. 6.

But the weather is changing a bit. We’ll see a chance of rain showers all day Tuesday and Wednesday, and temps, which have been comfortably in the 50s for some time, begin to drop back into the mid 40s for most of the week.

Here’s a detailed look at the next seven days via the National Weather Service:

  • Monday, partly sunny with temps in the low 40s. Monday night, temps in the mid 30s in southern Connecticut and upper 20s in northern Connecticut.
  • Tuesday, Rain likely after 9 a.m. in southwestern Connecticut and rain for all of the state by 1 p.m. We’re expecting a quarter inch of rain for most of Connecticut except only a tenth of an inch in Hartford and Tolland counties. Tuesday night, more rain, and temps increasing to the upper 40s and a quarter of an inch of rain.
  • Wednesday, showers and temps back into the mid 50s and a half inch of rain expected. Wednesday night, showers end before midnight and another quarter inch of rain.
  • Thursday, sunny, upper 40s
  • Friday, sunny, and mid to upper 40s
  • Saturday, sunny and mid 40s
  • Sunday, sunny and upper 40s
