Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) New England, New York, and Hudson Valley Properties was recently honored at Realtor.com’s THRIVE100 event, showcasing the top 100 companies in real estate. The event was held from May 25th – 27th at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya in Albuquerque, New Mexico. BHHS Corporate Relocation and Referral team member Amy Bakula attended the Thrive100 event on behalf of the department and the company.
BHHS earned the Top 100 accolade due to their long-standing customer and business partnership with Realtor.com’s ReadyConnect Referral Product, a real estate referral concierge tool, along with an impressive close rate and revenue production.

The event was designed to help real estate industry leaders, like BHHS, plan their ascent to bigger and better, side by side with Realtor.com executives. Attendees were the first to preview exciting new plans for Realtor.com platforms, listen in on talks regarding the economy and the current real estate market, as well as an exclusive question and answer session with Realtor.com’s CEO, David Doctorow.
“Amy Bakula played an integral role in our launch with OpCity/Realtor.com in 2017,” said Jim LaBanca, Vice President of Relocation and Core Services at BHHS. “We were pleased to have Amy represent our firm at the THRIVE100 event given her 25-year tenure and in-depth knowledge of the real estate platform’s tools and resources.”

BHHS operates one of the largest and most respected relocation and referral organizations in the Northeast. The company represents more referral opportunities than any brokerage in the Northeast market through numerous corporate, industry, and lead channel relationships.
“I was honored to have the opportunity to travel to New Mexico and attend the Thrive100 event,” added Bakula. “I enjoyed meeting colleagues in person whom I have worked with for years, in addition to making new connections. It was exciting to learn more about the real estate market around the country and have a chance to network, collaborate, and share ideas.”
