GREENWICH, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?:
Jessica works for Zoomers to Boomers, an organization of students who shop for older people who should not be in stores.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Jessica is a high school junior who is busy with her online school studies and uses her spare time to help seniors. Zoomers to Boomers could use more volunteers, as they are very busy as you can imagine.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Jessica is a cheerful, hardworking high school junior. One day, she even shopped at two stores for us.
