Chinese Language School of Connecticut Free Trial Classes in 2020
CLSC offering free trial classes for Ages 18 months and up in March and April 2020! Sign up on www.ChineseLanguageSchool.org today!
"We chose Chinese Language School of Connecticut at UCONN-Stamford because we wanted our children to learn Chinese and embrace their Chinese heritage" said Emmelyn Kim of Greenwich. As a Board member, Ms. Kim is also very involved in the running of the school. "My Chinese parents moved from the Philippines to the US before we were born. Our Asian Heritage is very important to us; my parents live in Chicago and my kids truly appreciate their influence. Meeting other families from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and US has been a fabulous experience. Celebrating and learning about holidays, foods, philosophy and mythology are just only a few of the many of the activities that students participate in each week. "
"The Chinese population in Asia is more diverse that most people realize. We all had such different experiences; It's been great to have my kids teach us about the origins of festivals and traditions from different parts of Asia in addition to the language!" said Jocelyn Riddle, another Greenwich parent at CLSC.
CLSC also offers MathCircle for elementary school, a class for highly gifted math students taught by Mr. Philippe Lionnet, Chief Operating Officer of Massar Capital Management in New York City. He was a former Mathelete from France who now reside in Greenwich with his wife, physician Julie Huang Lionnet.

There will be two open houses this spring for interested families. Free trial classes will be offered in April and May at UCONN-Stamford to see first hand what CLSC has to offer, meet and talk with teachers and CLSC parents.
