'A Committed Educator': Greenwich Teacher Shout-Out

GREENWICH, CT — Great teachers matter. In Greenwich, we're fortunate to have teachers like Grayson Muskus.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Grayson recently completed her first year of teaching and we could not be prouder of her. She had an incredibly positive impact on her students, as well as her community of parents, peers, and administration.

She has quickly built the foundation for a long and satisfying career in elementary education, a passion of hers for many years. Having excelled in her undergrad and graduate studies at Uconn, it is very rewarding as her parents to see that she found her calling which started as an inspiration at 15 years old. She emulated her own interactions as a student, translating these experiences with so many great teachers into her life’s goal.

Her approach and methods all target the supporting of her students needs in preparation for success at the next level, a parallel from her time as a student. Grayson‘s mindset is one of a mature educator capable of taking a long-term view in fostering relationships that have an impact beyond the classroom. Her students and parents will continue to benefit from her dedicated approach for years to come.

Grayson will undoubtedly encourage others to consider taking this valued path, embracing a very noble and rewarding career in teaching. Congratulations to Grayson as she embarks on year two!
