Daytime Road Closures Announced By Greenwich DPW

GREENWICH, CT — There will be daytime road closures at the intersection of Tomac Avenue, Harding Road, and Forest Avenue in Old Greenwich on May 2, May 3, and May 6 for road subbase reconstruction, according to an announcement from Greenwich Department of Public Works.
The road will be closed during construction hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with police presence to redirect traffic. The road will reopen at the end of each construction day, Greenwich DPW said.

From May 7-8, alternating traffic will occur on Tomac Avenue for road subbase reconstruction. Construction hours again will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and police will be on site.
The town is reminding the public to be mindful of the construction zone and to plan their route accordingly.
