December 2025 Greenwich Police Activity Report Released
Residents are once again being reminded to make sure their vehicles are locked and keys are secured.
GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department this week released its police activity report for December, and residents are once again being reminded to make sure their vehicles are locked and keys are secured.
"We appreciate your cooperation and support in enhancing public safety," police said. "Together, we can work towards reducing these incidents and ensuring our neighborhoods remain secure. If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it to the Greenwich Police Department immediately."

- Burglary: 7
- Larceny from motor vehicle: 3
- Motor vehicle theft: 9
- Domestic violence incidents: 14
- DUI: 4
- Motor vehicle collisions: 204
- Motor vehicle stops: 380

- Adult arrests: 52
- Juvenile arrests: 3
- Misdemeanor summons issued: 6

Police said the top motor vehicle citation issued to drivers was "traveling too fast." The most reported crime was larceny.

There were nine cars stolen out of Greenwich in December, with four recovered to date.
